Patent Pending With the United States and Canadian Patent Offices Revision #: 005 Revised: 11/20/09 Product Code: 06-line Product Name: Exterior Grade UV Cure Coating for use over Composite Substrates Description: Finishes Unlimited, Inc. has developed an exterior grade radiation cure coating designed for use over composite substrates such as PVC, WPC, cementitious, fiberglass, and others. These coatings are available in clear or colors at various gloss levels. Coating is 100% solids thus contain no volatile organic compounds (VOC’s) or hazardous air pollutants (HAPs). Exceptional film properties such as adhesion, color hold, gloss retention, and resistance to mold, moisture, staining, and scratch are produced when properly applied and cured. Coating can also be formulated to provide excellent solar reflectance and reduction in heat build. Application: A wide range of application equipment can be used to apply this coating including conventional spray, electrostatic, HVLP, air-assist airless, airless, flow, roll, or vacuum coating. This coating can be applied directly to most composite substrates such as PVC, cementitious, and others without the use of a primer. For fiberglass and other like substrates Finishes Unlimited’s UV Cure Transition Coating is required for adhesion purposes. This system consists of applying the UV Cure Transition Coat, curing, then applying the UV Cure Topcoat and curing. No sanding is required between coats.
